According to Wikipedia it would be
Rutland. Probably due to it's small size.

And the gourmet tastes of its inhabitants.Note that Oakham has three Indian restaurants: one tandoori restaurant, one balti house and one cosmopolitan one Smile

Do you mind, Bedstor ? Roll Eyes

Huh! I would have you know that Beaumont Chase,Rutland, a civil parish, created as a separate parish in 1858, consists of one farmhouse and the 2001 census recorded the population as 'nil' (the farmer must have been on holiday on the census day Big Grin)

The population of the county is currently c 35,000 in Oakham (c 10,000) and 52 villages.

Thanks for the snicker ! An interesting tidbit that made me smile ! Now I think I will start an internet write-in campaign to get Rutland its first Mickey D's. After all, McDonalds' slogan is "Multum In Parvo" (Isn't it ?) !
