What object around the average UK Household is rated between 4.5 and 15, there are some other values just outside this range. Yet they are very rare
Yet the same thing in the Majority of countries is not rated Confused

Question. What is it? And what is the name of the rating system

Is it air conditioning systems? If so they are rated by the SEER (Seasonal energy efficiency ratio) system.

We do have that "SEER" rating in Florida , you gotta have "11" or higher in order to have high efficiency and have a rebate from "FPL" (Florida Power and Light) on your new unit.

I don't think this is what Bedstor had in mind.

How about the t.o.g system for rating the insulating properties, the 'warmth', of duvets?

You've got it Fred It is the Duvet TOG rating Smile

Its about a 10 night in this country now
Though when the Weather really get cold the 15's come out or do what I do Put 2 duvets together plus a blanket in the cover and I've got a "25-30 tog" quilt! (way off the scale!) Eek and a 3rd underneath the bottom sheet. The mail order catalogues sell these as "mattress toppers" ..this is a good compromise Wink So long as I'm comfy, blow the "experts" recommendations. Razz
Used to put coats on the Bed when I was a Kid (before duvets) Its logical that I carry on the tradition Razz

Come on don't be shy what are your arrangements if the outside Temperatures really take a tumble?

I'll ask this question on DP as well .
