The Cardinal leads the flock with 7, but I have another with 5 states claiming it.
Cardinal-
Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky,
North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia

Mockingbird
Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas

Western Meadowlark
Kansas, Montana, N Dak, Oregon, and Wyoming

Have I fowled up?
