I want to say that they are all false but they aren't.
1. True when considered as a total figure. 2. True... not even close. 3. False* 4. False* 5. False 6. False 7. True but not for long... soon it will be which country has the most CD players in landfills. 8. False when considered as % of GDP 9. False 10. False 11. True 12. False 13. False 14. False
I know nothing about shipping or foreign investment but those seem like good places for a country like Japan to be in the lead.
*I think it presents a pretty distorted picture to look at European nations independently against statistics of the US. Some of these categories that seem surprising are simply a small sample compared to a large sample. For instance, I know that Icelanders have the most average trips to the movies of any country, but let's be fair... they are indoors for many months of the year and they deal with little daylight during the winter. Can we compare Iceland to Alaska or Minnesota?
It is pretty interesting to combine the European Nations and look at the economic statistics - interesting to me anyway.
