This is a recent posting of mine off another forum and I think this is the sort of thing that is wanted in this section Wink

Should keep you entertained for a while

Don't know if anybodies posted this site www.musicpophits.com
Has lots of Playable MP3 and WAV files of Many Big names Quality is 100% Only issue is the tracks end abruptly sometimes. Frown Doubt if you'll get through any page and there are quite a few with well indexed clickable links Smile

I do note the Webmaster has concentrated more on the Second division Groups/singers Rather than going Beatles ,Stones,Who ect., as many other Music sites usually put at the top of their list

I'll give it a 9/10

PS Many British Groups/singers on here rather than Overseas

I think its an Australian Site. Judging by the Links

Who can remember the Portsmouth Sinfonia? (Class!) There are at least 2 tracks by them

The Portsmouth Sinfonia? !! Well worth a listen. Those who are not familiar with this great British orchestra should know that the qualification for membership always was that the applicant must be either a non-musician or a musician who did not normally play the instrument concerned Smile There was a strict rule that all should do their genuine best.

The results were interesting. All would hit, if not the exact note, one which was pretty near adjacent. The pieces performed had a consequent misty or muddy sound to them, none the worse for that. Indeed, one of the orchestra's records was called 'Classical Muddly', punningly noting this feature Big Grin The orchestra was the world's best 'bad' orchestra Smile
