The announcement is up on every forum because I wanted everyone to see it, not just those who normally use the Recipe forums. It's my opinion that most males don't look the Recipe forums, but still have their own recipe for chili and/or barbecue sauce. I am trying to get as many people involved in the cook-off as possible. My choice was to either post the announcement individually in every forum I wanted it to appear in, or make one click of the mouse and have it featured in all forums. I chose the easier way. The announcement will come down from all forums by Sunday night as I had originally planned. It will, however, remain featured in the Chili forum until it is replaced by the winning recipe, which will remain featured until next year's winner goes up.
