Well, if she/he is sick, then yes it is possible. Bacteria are located on the skin, in the body, on the hands, in and on the mouth and all over.

You can't always tell if a person IS sick because they could be immune the virus or bacteria by already being exposed to it previously.

If you see that someone is obviously sick, don't kiss them, or get close to them.

colds, the flu, and mono spread very easily through kissing. Thankfully, most more serious diseases don't usually, but serious diseases can sometimes spread though kissing, especially if one of the kissers has a cut or sore.

I wouldn't be worried about it.

It doesn't matter how you kiss, if there is bacteria or virus present you could catch it. Kissing is only the way it is transfered.. any kind of kissing can transfer it.

The deadly sorts are not all that common.. Mono is fairly common.. and that can make you sick for months.

You can transmit colds and viruses by kissing, or where ever body fluids are involved. You can (although it's rare) catch mono from sharing cigarettes or soda cans, but mainly from kissing (that's why it's called The Kissing Disease). If you have cold sores in your mouth, that can also present a problem.
But I wouldn't worry. If you're basically healthy and she's basically healthy, don't get all worked up about it. If you like her enough to kiss her, you should be able to handle whatever bacteria she gives you.
My husband and I have been living together for some time and sometimes we catch what the other one has and sometimes we don't -and we do a lot more than kiss! On the other hand, my mother was always catching whatever cold I brought home even though I rarely caught anything from her -and we were certainly not kissing! So a lot depends on your own immune system, too.
