I take some hard blows in games and at practice during softball, and I never have anything to show for it! *L* I just got his yesterday in practice when I fouled off a ball straight to my lower shin right above my ankle, so hard it knocked me on the ground and swelled up a LOT. All the fluid dropped down into my ankle and u can't even see my ankle bone anymore, but u can't even TELL i have a bruise hardly! It's BARELY colored at all. Why is that? You have to look really hard to even notice whether it's blue or not. This happens everytime I get hit too, it will swell up, but no bruise.
