I'm nearsighted and can't have sugery because I'm not old enough. I guess ther's no way that I can correct my vision before then, is there?

If they don't recomend it because of your age then you should not have it done. Look at it this way there are reasons why they don't want to do it at your age ( I don't know how old we are talking about, I'm guessing under 18) maybe the surgery would not work well because are still growing. I really don't know much about it. I would do what the doctor recomends because something bad could happen otherwise. I would not want to play around with my eyes. If something happens to them you are in bad shape. Maybe try contacts for now and wait tell you are older. Good luck! The one good thing they will hopefully have perfected it by the time you can have yours done so that is a good thing.

sarah, there are some exercises that you can do to strengthen the muscles around your eyes. i will look for them and write again.

just make a search for "eye exercises" and you should get a couple of leads.
