Nursey,
In terms of a breast reduction.. I had one done and I would do it all over again at the drop of a hat. I am very pleased with my results (except I would have gone for a "A" since your breasts get larger as the tissue "settles").

Your insurance WILL likely cover Reductions if there is a certain volume that needs to be removed because of the physical repercussions (back problems, rashes and bleeding under the breasts, etc). My insurance required at LEAST 500cc to be removed from EACH breast to get coverage.. I had 1000cc removed from each breast. The procedures are much different from when I did it in 1989 (less recovery time, etc).

I remained prone for 3 months and did dressing changes 3 times a day. I do not think this is standard procedure anymore. You might want to look into it, it was worth it to me.

Thanks Sherasi! You know what is strange when I was in highschool and then I was wearing a C cup then I gain weight in nursing school and went to a D cup. Well when I lost weight I figured I would go back. NO NO NO it stayed their I just lost the inches around. Well when I gain weight back I am now in a DD or some bras a DDD. If I keep my weight rollar coastering my boobs could wind up on the floor! I guess like you said the tissue stretches, breast feeding made it very hard to find a bra big enough. I would love to have a reduction but my husband has this boob problem. But you know who's health is at risk here, not his. It would sure help my back. I may have to check into it. Thanks

My pleasure to give you information you may be able to use. It was worth it to me and I suspect others could also benefit.
