I have glasses with a scratch on one lens. They have a no glare coating on them. My eye dr. said that the only way to get rid of the scratch is to replace the lens. I've seen lots of those scratch removing creams and spray. But would they work on my glasses since they have the no glare coating? Some say they don't, but others don't mention it. Does anyone know of a scratch remover that could help me out here? Thanks!

Not sure what the right answer is for you as my eye doctor who I saw recently said that it was easier when a lens gets scratched to simply replace it-I was there to get my glasses adjusted and we got talking about how to clean your glasses-they suggested to me to use a solution to clean the glasses and wipe it with toilet paper of all things-I was told that a film as such can appear on glasses if they are simply cleaned with a dry tissue only

Not sure if any of this helps you-Best of luck

Toilet paper the soft variety is an excellent
cleaner I've always used it or paper hankies?
The len cloths disappear with a few weeks of buying a new pair try to wash it and it vanishes (or disintegrates Confused) or it becomes a hairy monster with the collected fluff in the case(useless for cleaning! Frown)
