I can't believe that only 2 companies are being sued. Seems everywhere you look you see these false ads. Well all I can say is, "It's about time!" Thanks for sharing these with us.

What bothers me is that these companies come up with a product, don't test it, don't research it past "yes, it may cause weight loss", and then sell it to the general public. People are killed in the pursuit of the almightly dollar, and all that happens is, AFTER the deaths, the companies aren't allowed to sell the product anymore. While I think people are responsible for themselves--ie people who smoke or eat fast food shouldn't be able to win money from the companies--the company is responsible to make sure the product isn't inherently dangerous, or if it is let people know. We all know cigarettes are deadly, the companies print it on the side of the packs. But ephedra was supposedly "safe".
