I have used Ortho-K vision correction (where you wear corrective contact lenses at night) in the past. It eventually got on my nerves having to use the lenses every night for about 6 months. I think I read somewhere about a new method of overnight contact lense correction where you only have to wear the lenses overnight for a specific length of time (say 4-6 months), then your vision was normal for years. Does anyone have anymore information about this? I don't remember what it's called or where I read it.

I stumbled across your question and noticed that it had never been answered. To date (that I am aware of) the lenses used in the corneal refractive treatment will only provide a temporary solution. Once you stop wearing the lenses at night the cornea will gradually go back to the original shape, usually within 72 hours. The only permanent solution is refractive surgery.
Paragon Vision Sciences were the first to receive FDA approval for overnight lenses used in corneal refractive therapy.
