I just decided that I was gonna get contact lenses. I am sick of wearing glasses. The problem came up when I was getting my training; no matter what I did I could not keep my eyelids far enough apart that the lens would get close enough to my eye...

Does anyone have any tips for putting lenses in or how to keep the eyelids open enough to put them in?

Thank You

thomas! I went thru the same problem! They said that I had "tight eyelids"! You need to get those majorly thin ones... cuz the others won't work!

Ask your "eye guy"!

Contact Lens Insertion and Removal Video

Thomas, I recently started wearing contacts; it takes practice to become comfortable inserting and removing them. Please read the instructions on the page I linked to, and watch the video. It helps to see someone else doing it. I would also suggest going back to your optometrist to have him/her help you with this.

Thats exactly what they told me. Also, they said that my blink reflex is exceptionally strong on my upper eyelid.

Thank You for the link.
