Actually more precisely is Pepto Bismol safe to keep in a hotel reception first aid box? Does it have any ingredients that may cause a problem for somebody if I gave it to them? The PB FAQs mention possibly a problem if someone has an aspirin allergy. Is there anything that may be more suitable for diarrhoea/ nausea/ bad belly?

Hi...

I believe there may be aspirin in Pepto Bismol. I know that children should not take it.

Hope that helps

Here is specific information from an online drug. You can read the parts where they say what to use it for and what to avoid doing or using it for... but all of it is worth reading.

I suggest that you check with your local physicians, attorneys, and council health
and safety chair, et al, on laws and
medical practices acts of your state to ensure that you can legally offer over-the-counter drugs to the guests. I'm not sure but I believe that it is inadvisable
to provide any over-the-counter medications.
