I'm going to Peru this summer on this school organized trip. Besides the Hep A, yellow fever, and typhoid shots, we have to get malaria pills. There are a few different kinds out there so I was wondering if anybody had any experiences with them they might want to share concerning side effects, etc. Thanks!

I don't have any experience myself, but I do remember that my friend who went said it is very, very important to take the full course- which includes a few pills after you are back home!
